This artifact appears as "ripples" or vague rings centering on the center of rotation. The rings are not a white ring, but a noticeable variation in the values around it and gets stronger towards the center of the image. Unfortunately our machine cannot correct for this artifact. Other machines that are equipped with a motorized detector panel can correct for this by moving the panel slightly between projections.
